What is HIFU technology?

HIFU lifting system uses a new advanced techniques of High-intensity focused ultrasound for the design of this instrument.HIFU make it possible that non surgical type cosmetic wrinkle removal instead of the traditional facelifting opration.The device will release a highly concertrated focus of ultrasonic energy,and deliver into the deep skin and cause thermal coagulation to SMAS(supeficial muscular aponeurotic system),high heat is condensed in the appropriate location,to stimulate the skin deep dermal tissue,produce more collagen.It can provice the skin tightening and rejuvenation happens gradually with the time so that the skin becomes more compact.

What’s the SMAS?


SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System) is a layer of connective tissue membrane which widely covered in deep tissue under the dermis, which connects fat and facial superficial muscle, extends and consolidates the bone of face, closely contacts epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous tissue together, and these layers structure form the facial contour, support the integrity of skin, muscles and bone.

It’s heating directly to deeper tissue, in order to lift the skin. It is performed in the office with only ultrasound gel applied to the skin. An ultrasound screen image allows the physician to visualize the level of treatment before energy is applied to the targeted tissue. The treatment takes from 45 to 90 minutes depending on the area(s) treated.

1. DS-4.5D 4MHZ frequency used to transmit high- energy focused ultrasound to the skin, subcutaneous tissue, the ultrasound to penetrate the skin to a depth of 4.5mm, direct subcutaneous SMAS layer, forming “heat coagulation” regional, targeted to thicker skin, such as cheeks, etc.

2. DS-4.5S 7MHZ frequencies used to transmit high-energy focused ultrasound to the skin, subcutaneous tissue, the ultrasound to penetrate the skin to a depth of 4.5mm, direct subcutaneous SMAS layer, targeted to thinner skin, such as the forehead, thin and neck.

Q1: What are HIFU (Ulthera or Doublo) treatments like?

A1: No preparation is needed. Ultrasound gel will be applied to cleansed skin. The handpiece will then be used to deliver ultrasound energy beneath the skin. Some patients may feel the energy at this point.

The physician will work with you to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Each treatments takes 60 to 90 minutes, but may be performed within 30 minutes. Some patients report feeling a slight prickling or heat under the skin. Cooling is not required. Anesthetics will be provided to ensure patient comfort as tolerance levels vary, but treatment isn’t unbearably painful.

Q2: What happens after treatment?

A2: You can get right back to your day — there is no downtime required. Collagen production will kick off after only one session, with results appearing over the following months. Your skin will be healthier,stronger, and younger-looking, without any unnatural, drastic changes.

Q3: What about side effects?
